WhatsApp CRM and WhatsApp Business API in Egypt

Egyptian customers use WhatsApp to ask about products, confirm orders and follow deliveries. A WhatsApp CRM puts every chat in one shared inbox, so nothing gets lost between agents. BelloSend runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, and our team supports customers in Arabic.

WhatsApp in Egypt: language and payment habits

Customers in Egypt mostly write in Egyptian Arabic, and some businesses also use English. Voice notes are common. Your team needs one inbox where every chat, note and order status is visible.

Cash on delivery is widely used for online orders in Egypt. Confirming each order on WhatsApp before dispatch helps avoid refused parcels and wasted delivery trips. Utility messages are cheap in Egypt, which makes these confirmations affordable.

Common WhatsApp CRM uses in Egypt

  • COD order confirmation

Send a utility template with the order total and Confirm or Cancel buttons, then call only the customers who do not answer.

  • Delivery updates

Tell customers when the courier is on the way, so they are home and ready to pay.

  • Sales from Instagram

Answer Instagram DMs and comments beside WhatsApp chats in the same inbox.

  • Chatbot for common questions

On Pro and Max, a chatbot answers price and delivery questions and hands off to an agent with the full history.

WhatsApp Business API prices in Egypt: Meta rates per message

Meta list rates in US dollars per delivered message, for recipients with a +20 number. Rate card effective 1 October 2026, before volume discounts. Meta bills these fees; BelloSend adds no fee per message.

CategoryMeta rate per delivered message (USD)When it applies
Marketing$0.0644Offers, promotions, product news, re-engagement. Marketing has no volume tiers.
Utility$0.0036Order confirmations, delivery updates, payment reminders. Charged inside and outside the 24-hour window since 1 October 2026.
Authentication$0.0036One-time passwords and login codes.
Authentication (international)$0.065Only for very large senders (over 750,000 authentication messages in 30 days to these markets) whose primary business location is outside Egypt. Most businesses pay the normal authentication rate.
Service$0.0036Free-form replies inside the 24-hour window, after the first 1,000 free service messages per business number each month.

How Meta bills WhatsApp messages in Egypt

Meta charges per delivered message, by category and by the recipient's country code. Messages customers send you are free. Each business phone number gets 1,000 free service messages per month, with no roll-over. After that, service replies cost the service rate above.

Since 1 October 2026, utility templates sent inside an open 24-hour window are charged again. A chat started from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad opens a free window of up to 7 days. Utility and authentication get volume discounts at high volume. Meta changes prices only on the first day of a quarter; the next possible change is 1 January 2027.

In Egypt the gap between categories is large: a marketing message costs many times more than a utility message. Use utility templates for order and delivery updates, and save marketing for opted-in campaigns.
